Plans and billing
What each plan includes and how billing works.
Free and Pro
Free is everything in the editor, plus one diagram in the cloud. Pro is for people who keep their integration docs in Volley, and costs $9 a month or $90 a year (two months free). Prices are in US dollars.

Monthly allowances reset on the first of each month, UTC.
Upgrade
- Sign in. See Accounts and saving.
- Choose Upgrade to Pro in the sidebar, or in the Account menu. Volley also offers it whenever you reach a Free limit, and says which one.
- Pick Monthly or Yearly and click the upgrade button.
- Pay on the Stripe checkout page. Promotion codes are accepted there.
Pro switches on as soon as the payment goes through, and you return to Volley with a confirmation. If you cancel at checkout, nothing is charged.
Payments are handled by Stripe, which is the merchant of record: it calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT, and it is the seller named on your invoices.
Manage or cancel
Choose Manage billing in the Account menu to open the Stripe billing portal. There you can update your card, see and download invoices, and cancel.
When you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays on while Stripe retries the card.
Refunds
If Pro is not for you, email support@volley.sh within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. After that, payments are not refunded except where the law requires it. See the refund policy.
Moving back to Free
When Pro ends, your account returns to Free and keeps everything:
- Diagrams above the Free limit stay, and you can read and edit them, but you cannot save new ones until you are under the limit.
- Private diagrams stay private.
- Version history is hidden. Saving no longer creates versions.
- Embeds and SVG images show the badge again.
- Collections stay readable and shareable, and you can delete them, but you cannot edit them.
- Webhook inboxes, recording links and API keys you already have keep working, within the Free limits. For example, captures stop at 25 a month, and a recording link that already holds three recordings is full.
- The agent skill you installed is yours to keep.
Using Volley for free
Everything that runs in your browser is free and needs no account: writing and reading diagrams, share links, downloads and image exports, interactive embeds of snapshots, HAR import, drift checks, the agent view, and stepping through a diagram on a phone. So is the command line tool.
